Growing up, my dad took me to LAX just to watch planes. Not to fly — just to watch. I had a little digicam and I photographed everything that moved. That was it for me.

I had a small airport basically in my backyard in Riverside, airshows every year, and a dad who had model planes on every shelf and a story for every one of them. Aviation was just part of life. The camera came with it.

UK>RM is Raw Motion — the idea that every machine has one moment where everything it was built for actually happens. My job is to be there when it does, and make it look the way it felt.
